Graduate Research Assistantship (M.S. in Botany or Ph.D. in Plant Science
in the Botany Department at Oklahoma State University:

physiological ecology of algae in a hypersaline environment in Oklahoma.
Funding duration is two years. Duties will include field experiments
(potentially under harsh weather conditions and possibly requiring
overnight stays at a field station) and laboratory
experiments involving isolation, culture, identification, manipulation, and
physiological characterization of halotolerant algae and cyanobacteria, and
publication and other dissemination of results. Minimum qualifications
include a B.S. or M.S. in the biological sciences, a strong interest in
plant/algal physiology, ideally some prior research experience, and program
