Postdoc positions: molecular & biochemical parasitology

study molecular biology and biochemistry of fatty acid biosynthesis or
other important metabolic pathways in Cryptosporidium parvum or other
apicomplexan parasites. 

Applicants are expected to have Ph.D. degree (or equivalent) with 0 - 5
years of postdoctoral experience, or B.S./M.S. degree with 1+ year of
laboratory experience in two of the following areas: 1) molecular cloning
and sequencing; 2) expression of recombinant proteins in bacteria or
yeast; 3) protein biochemistry; 4) lipid biochemistry; 5) ultrastructural
analysis, 6) cultivation of intracellular parasites; and 7) laboratory
animal models for parasitic diseases. Experience with large-size proteins
or apicomplexan parasites will be desirable. Must be able to work
independently and willing to learn new technologies. Exact position titles
are negotiable. Salaries will be competitive and commensurate with
