Dear colleagues

We just made public a web database containing oligonucleotides
probes
targetting ribosomal RNA of eukaryotic protists (mostly
photosynthetic) and of cyanobacteria. This contrasts to the other
databases that focus on prokaryotes. These probes are either
published
or still in development. People interested in the probes in
development are encouraged to contact the team currently
developping
the probes.

These probes are available for one or several the following
applications: * FISH (fluorescent in situ hybridization) * FISH
coupled with flow cytometry * Dot blot hybridization * Quantitative
PCR

This database is developped in the framerwork of the PICODIV program
and maintained by Daniel Vaulot (Station Biologique de Roscoff). It
is still in developement. Please send corrections and signal errors.
You may also contribute new probes or probes in development.
