our ideas about ciliate evolution have changed
remarkebly little since the heterotrichs and/or karyo-
relicts have been recognized to be the first
offshots from the ciliate lineage.
In other words, I don't think there will be
the need for a major revision of 
ciliate classification.  The most knowledgeable
person to ask would be Denis Lynn, though -
he is probably the person to write the 
ciliate chapter.
