Dear Colleagues,

A joint meeting of the Schistosome and Filaria Genome Networks has
been scheduled for January 10-12, 2002 at The Institute for Genomic
Research (TIGR), Rockville, MD, USA.

This Meeting is, as always, open to any interested researcher who
wishes to attend.

Please would anyone who wishes to attend the Meeting contact Phil
LoVerde, Network Co-ordinator (loverde at buffalo.edu), as soon as
possible. Phil is happy to provide invitation letters for anyone who
needs one for visa purposes.

WHO have awarded limited funds to support the meeting, However, these
are likely to be fully committed to help support the attendance of
core, active members of the Network who are requested, wherever
possible, to obtain external support for travel to the Meeting.Other
participants must be prepared to cover their own expenses in full
(although some contribution towards cost may be possible). We have
scheduled the Meeting to allow a Saturday stop-over to reduce travel
costs.

Accomodation in a local motel will be in double rooms. Anyone not
wanting to have a room mate will be expected to cover the full costs
of their accomodation and must inform Phil of this, when registering
their wish to attend.
