Staden for the Mac?

In 1990, Roger Staden wrote "An improved sequence handling package that
runs on the Apple Macintosh" in Computer Applications in the Biosciences
vol. 6:387-393, Oxford press.  The article does not mention how to get the
package or whether it is commercial or free.  Is it currently available
for the Mac or PowerMac? How much does it cost? How do I get it?
