Hazardous materials handling

Could someone suggest an online database, web/gopher site or 
handbook that would address toxicity, proper handling and 
disposal/destruction/recycling of specific chemicals in small 
amounts?  I need something that addresses specific compounds and 
gives more detail than an MSDS sheet.  I have books that give 
general overviews but with only limited examples.  Much obliged.
