PathoGenesis Corporation is a biopharmaceutical company that is exploring
new frontiers in the discovery, development and commercialization of drugs
to treat infectious disease. Share in the mission and commitment that is
PathoGenesis Corporation and make a difference in the lives of countless
people.
Scientist, Biochemistry
Our effort to identify new antibiotics includes the development of
high-throughput assays for small molecules with novel mechanisms of
anti-bacterial activity. We are looking for an individual who will identify
antibacterial targets, develop assays, and study mechanisms of action, using
chemical and biochemical expertise and knowledge of bacterial physiology to
complement our current strength in molecular biology and bacterial
pathogenesis. Qualified candidates will possess a PhD or equivalent
experience in biochemistry or in a related field, with research experience
in enzymology and other aspects of biochemistry.
The Department of Research Biology is also currently seeking a biochemist
and several molecular biologists at the Research Associate level to join our
antibiotic discovery team.
Scientist, Toxicology
We are seeking a scientist to join our Toxicology Group to assist with a
growing number of internal and external toxicology studies. Activities will
be split between toxicity evaluation of research compounds and regulatory
toxicology studies for compounds in development. Qualified candidates will
possess a PhD (in Toxicology or a related field), a DVM, or a BS/MS with
equivalent experience, as well as a minimum of 1 year of toxicology research
experience. Familiarity with GLP, FDA and ICH guidelines for drug-
development and knowledge of aerosol delivery or pulmonary toxicology
useful.
