[Toxicology] DMSO toxicity

Dear Chuck Miller
I am a post-doc at UTMB working under the supervision of Dr Ping Wu. 
I was wondering was the highest concentration of DMSO (%) that can be
injected into rats without causing toxicity. I have read that 10% is
safe, but we need to increase the concentratrion (we are using DMSO as a
solvent of lipoic acid, and to increase the amount of lipoic acid we
need to increase the DMSO concentration).  Is 25% safe?
