Subject: The award system for young scientists
Dear Dr. George Malacinski November
We are pleased to announce that we can offer travel support to young
scientists who will participate and present the posters in the International
Symposium "The Frontiers of the Biology of Amphibia" held in March of 1999,
in Hiroshima, Japan. Our award system is as follows:
1. We can support 4000 $ in total as a part of travel expenses of the young
scientists including graduate students.
2. The maximum amount of grant per individual is 570 $.
3. In case applicants exceed the grant available, the organizing committee
will select the appropriate candidates from them referring to the
of their poster presentations and their travel expenses.
We hope that many young scientists can attend this symposium. If you
and your graduate students like to apply to this award, please contact me
soon. I look forward to seeing you at Hiroshima.
