The I.U. Axolotl Colony would like to accumulate a data base, so that
axolotl researchers and other urodele researchers would be able to
initiate research projects already knowing sources of appropriate
antibodies.
Wanted: practical information concerning antibodies which are useful for
recognizing axolotl or other urodele antigens. If you have experience
with any antibodies--e.g., even heterologous ones--which give a strong
reaction with axolotl (or other urodele) material and would like to
contribute please do one of the following:
1) Respond to this email and the webmaster will compile the info.
2) Send an email to axolotl at indiana.edu
3) Go to the Axolotl Colony's website (www.indiana.edu/~axolotl), click on
Antibody Information and Survey, and fill out the form there.
We would like to have the name of antibodies, the species tested, the
vendors from which the antibodies were obtained, dilutions used and any
comments.
These will be compiled, as the information comes in, into a searchable
document which you can link to from the survey form or by visiting
www.indiana.edu/~axolotl/researchtools/antibodyinfo.html
