I have e.mailed the CSIRO in Australia directly and they havent gotten
back on the report that they have brought a virus into Australia for the
purpose of exterminating the Cane Toad (Bufo marinus). They simply
acknowledged that "it is so." I would like to know if anyone
has heard what that virus is and whether or not an insect vector or
some other strategy would be used or is planned if it is ultimately fielded??
