Well I do PCR on adenovirus, it works nicely but its dreadful for 
quantitation, so will tell you nothing about 'load', even if you apply 
quantitative techniques they are VERY sensitive to the quality of the 
template.
	Apart from that, why not with a bit of RT thrown in.
