Retroviral Replication in Dividing Cells

I know that retroviruses need their host cell to go through a cycle of
cell division before they can incorporate their DNA into the host's
genome. What I am wondering is this: are there any studies or data
regarding what occurs when a cell divides as a retrovirus has entered the
final phase of its replication (i.e. virion assembly and budding). Does
this facilitate viral budding? Inhibit it? Does this ever happen? Anyway,
if you have any thoughts/answers to these questions, please e-mail me at:

Thanks in advance.
