The draft paper submission deadline is February 4 2008. BCBGC brings together both academic and industrial scientists and developers from a diverse range of disciplines including bioinformatics, computer science, computational biology, genomics, proteomics and chemoinformatics. One of the main goals of the conference is to promote the dissemination of research to a multidisciplinary audience and to facilitate communication among researchers in different fields. I am also working at the conseil g?n?ral des Alpes-Maritimes (http://www.cg06.fr/) in the departement of ecology. I am looking for current information on the morbilivirus wich affects several cetaceans in Mediterranean sea. http://mediterranee.france3.fr/nice/info/38412303-fr.php . The idea it's to create a "map" to follow the evolution of the virus in the western Mediterranean sea. Any information you may have on the evolution of morbilivirus in Mediteranean sea will be good come. Thank you. It's an article of the 16th January 2008 which reports the death of several striped dolphins (64) on the coast of the french riviera. Morbilivirus is clearly identified. This phenomenon doesn't come every years but one year out of five maybe. Its start from Spain and its progresse in the direction of the needles of a watch, France, Italy, Greece... That it's why i want to have any informations to cretae a "map" of the evoltion of morbilivirus in Mediterranean cetacea.
