I found it generally depressing too, the lack of any sense of loyalty to
anything but the individual and his career (what ever happened to
science?) the "what's in it for me" attitude, and the various comments
that Emily made....unfortunately that's what depresses me about looking
around our mid-90s society too.  

guess I'm just out of date.
