Is gyn neglected for OB?

: 	I don't know where you've been looking, but most programs (at 
: least out here in California), are pretty much evenly divided as far as Ob 
: and Gyn.  To be board certified, you have to study it all, but 
: afterwards if you just want to do gyn in practice, you can chose to do 
: that.  Also, there are several subspecialities that are devoted just to 
: non-Ob, non-cancer gyn, such as urogynecology, endocrinology and 
: infertility, etc.
