ASSISTANT PROFESSOR, VERTEBRATE BIOLOGIST.  THE DEPARTMENT OF BIOLOGY IS
INVITING APPLICATIONS FOR A FULL-TIME TENURE-TRACK POSITION BEGINNING IN
SEPTEMBER, 1995.  PRIMARY TEACHING RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE DEVELOPMENTAL
BIOLOGY AND COMPARATIVE ANATOMY; ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES MAY INCLUDE:
VERTEBRATE HISTOLOGY, OCCASIONAL COURSES IN THE CANDIDATE'S AREA OF EXPERTISE
GENERAL BIOLOGY AND PARTICIPATION IN GENERAL EDUCATION COURSES.  THE
SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE SHOULD HAVE A STRONG COMMITMENT TO TEACHING AND RESEARCH
AND TO INVOLVING UNDERGRADUATES IN A MODERN RESEARCH PROGRAM.  THE CANDIDATE
WILL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO TEACH IN THE NATIONALLY PRAISED INTERDISCIPLINARY
