POSITION: Assistant Professor, Remote Sensing and GIS.
LOCATION: Blacksburg, Virginia.
TYPE OF APPOINTMENT: Twelve-month, tenure-track.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Teaching and research in Remote Sensing and GIS.
Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in principles and applications of remote sensing and GIS.
Conduct research in remote sensing/GIS applicable to natural resource management and collaborate in interdisciplinary projects in the College.
Advise undergraduates and supervise graduate students.
QUALIFICATIONS: Ph.D., with an emphasis in remote sensing/GIS; a degree in forestry preferred; expertise and current interests in forest resource management applications mandatory.
SALARY: Commensurate with education and experience.
