GAANN Assistantships in Biology

Worcester Polytechnic Institute invites applications from outstanding
students (minorities and women are especially encouraged to apply) for
one of eight GAANN (Graduate Assistance in Areas of National Need)
fellowships, sponsored by the U.S. Dept. of Education.  These 3-year
fellowships provide a $14,000 stipend, tuitioin of up to 20
sem. hr./yr., and a travel allowance for attending meetings of
$1,000.  Fellowship applicants must be U.S. citizens, nationals or
perm. residents committed to a career in teaching and research, and
