Hi Tori
Sorry to disappoint you but high heels have been around now for several
centuries, and have been worn by both men and women with about equal
frequency. Oddly enough, in the time of william of orange male courtiers
were expected to wear wigs (human hair preferably), makeup, tights
(sometimes stuffed with straw to improve the shape of the legs), and high
heels. Of course women had to ponce around in bone corsets :).
Ain't fashion a wierd thing :)
cheers
Bart
