women-in-science?

There already is a general women-in-science newsgroup. It is called Women
in Science and Engineering Network (WISEnet).

To subscribe to WISENET send mail to LISTSERV at UICVM or LISTSERV at UICVM.UIC.EDU

The mail should include a single line as follows:
  SUBSCRIBE WISENET yourname
^^^^^^^^ replace with your first and last name

Since there already is a forum for woman scientists in general, I would
prefer that this bionet group remain focused on issues of importance to
women in biology. Otherwise, the number of messages per day might grow too
large and unwieldy.
