Formulations Scientist

We are seeking a protein chemist/formulation scientist for a
successful young biopharmaceutical company.  Competitive candidates
will have a strong protein chemistry background with an interest in
monoclonal antibodies, recombinant proteins, and virus-like particles.
They will also have experience in protein characterization and
evaluation of physical and chemical stability.

Desired profile:

- 	Ph.D. in Biochemistry/Chemistry/Pharmacy with 0-5 years of
experience in either an academic or industrial setting.

-	Entrepreneurial personality; able to establish effective
collaboration with scientists at academic or research institutions in
order to solve formulation development problems;  able to work
simultaneously on diverse projects; familiar with fill/finish
operations and with the concepts of aseptic processing.

- 	Highly motivated, strong organizational skills, excellent
interpersonal and communication skills .

This person will be responsible for building and managing a
formulation program for biopharmaceuticals, working with outside
contractors and scaling-up formulations, adjuventation and
lyophilization.  Our client company is a growing biopharmaceutical
