JEFFERISS TRUST SENIOR RESEARCH FELLOW
Applications are invited for a scientist with at least 3 years
post-doctoral experience in Molecular Virology/Biology. We are looking
for a dynamic investigator with a proven record of research who is
thoroughly trained in molecular techniques (eg., PCR, RT-PCR, DNA
cloning, hybridisation, phage display, two-hybrid system). Background
experience in Virology and/or Biochemistry would be an advantage. The
successful applicant joining this productive team will be expected to
take a practical interest in the existing research focus of retroviral
packaging, retroviral entry or vector development. Excellent
opportunities exist for collaborations within the Department and within
Imperial College.
This post is tenable for 5 years (salary and running expenses) is
funded by the Jefferiss Research Trust, Imperial College School of
Medicine at St Marys, at a starting salary in the range £17,606-£20,103
per annum plus £2,134 London Allowance, depending on age and experience.
