Research Associate - Infectious Diseases


	Applications are invited for a scientist with post-doctoral experience
in molecular and cell biology to work on the gene therapy of infectious
diseases.  The successful applicant would be expected to collaborate
with established groups in the department interested in testing new
constructs for anti-viral activity, developing new retroviral vectors,
and with other groups on campus active in developing DNA transfer as a
means of treating inherited diseases.  This post is available for 3
years and is funded by the European Commission Biomed 2 Programme at a
starting salary in the range £15,159-£18.494 per annum plus £2,134
London Allowance, depending on age and experience.
