redirecting output of X-PLOR

is there any way to redirect X-PLOR's output of, say, the DISTANCE
statement? I have many DISTANCE statements in a row and want to process
their outputs separately with shell scripts after X-PLOR has finished.
I tried some things like 'set display ...' (affects only DISPLAY statements)
and 'set journal ...' (takes only note of my input) as well as 'set print ...'
(affects only PRINT statements).

Any input appreciated,
