X-PLOR 3.843 Installation

I've downloaded the new X-PLOR 3.843 files but have two questions/problems:

1) untarring xploron3843_sgi_R4000_exe.tar gives:

      tar: directory checksum error (0 != 5821)

 Is it me or the file?


2) Is this R4000 version compatible with an R4400 Indigo2?
