Compiling X-PLOR on O2

Dear X-plorers,

I have a feeling this question has probably been asked before, but it
isn't on the FAQ:

Is there a problem compiling X-PLOR on O2?

A colleague is about to purchase a machine and we are not sure about
Indigo2 vs. O2 options
