Institute of Microbial Technology (IMTECH), Chandigarh, India is a
premier research Institute in India in Modern Biology. The Institute has
announced several vacancies in different areas including X-ray
crystallography, Bioinformatics, Biochemical engineering, and Molecular
and cell biology. The existing facilites include strong molecular
biology and protein purification set-up, MAR345 Imaging plate detector
installed on a Rigaku UltraX-18 rotating anode generator and several
computer workstations with a wide range of hardware, and softwares.
IMTECH is affiliated to the Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi, which
awards Ph. D. degrees to IMTECH students. Chandigarh is conveniently
located, ~250 kms north of Delhi, with a strategic vicinity to India's
capital city, but yet without the associated problems such as pollution
etc. Chandigarh is also within an hours' drive from the Shivalik ranges
of the Himalayas. Indian citizenship conditions apply. Last date of
