I am a graduate student in my fourth
year of studies. My PhD involves the biochemistry of
an abalone sperm protein. I have developed an
expression system and plan to do mutagenesis studies.
I was a tech for Jim Hogle,
back when it was the Wilson/Hogle group at
Scripps Clinic and Research Foundation.
I have direct experience growing crystals, but I haven't
done any modeling or computer work.
What I am looking for is advice
on the feasability of doing a post doc in
crystallography. I am also going to be talking to other people,
but just thought I would ask here. Any advice appreciated.
Thanks,
