DO YOU HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH AN RU-200 FINE FOCUS SPOT?
We're contemplating putting Franks mirrors on our RU-200, which
currently has the .5 x 10 mm filament. The naive course is obviously to
reduce the filament size to .3 x 3 (or even .2 x 2); however, we've
heard rumors that RU-200's don't run well with fine focus. Does anyone
out there have experiences that can confirm or refute this? Is the
fine focus spot really much brighter? It SHOULD be, but should
ain't always is...
