We run MSc courses at Birkbeck College, London, UK. in crystallography and
macromolecular structure and are planning to extend some of the modules to
distance-learning and self-paced tuition. We'd be very interested in any
programs or scripts that crystallographers may have developed for teaching
elements of crystallography and structure. The probable platforms are PC's
(for home use) and UNIX/X (for central server).

Anything would be gratefully accepted, even if it's not very polished
:-) Ideally it should be available for free, since our students are not rich!

We'd also be very interested in knowing of anyone's experience in
distance learning since this is a new field for us. We'll post replies if
there is sufficient interest.

PS.
We'd like to post this also on sci.techniques.xtallography - could
anyone tell us the subscription address and method? TIA
