Crystallization In Gels.

I am trying to set up a crystallization in agarose gel, using ammonium
sulphate. I require concentrations of approx. 60% A.S. The gel does not seem
to support concs greater than 25%. Is there any way around this, perhaps by
using lower gelling point gels or different concentrations of agarose (I am
currently trying at 0.1%). This is my first foray into using gels, so any other
practical info would be of assistance.
