rebuilt filaments

In response to my query about rebuilt filaments:

Only the Brandeis group responded:

We've been using SIS rebuilt filaments in our Rigaku RU200 for quite awhile.  
The lifetime is at least as good as what we had gotten with new filaments.

We use them all the time.  They last 2-4 times longer than the 
original ones and are more brilliant to boot.  We no longer
use anything else.
