X-plor on DEC Alpha OSF/1

We found a problem with allocating memory under OSF1.
The problem was that XPLOR uses integer pointers into
the heap, but on 64-bit machines integer*4 pointers
won't do ... When we changed all integers to *8 it
worked.  If you want more details, ask our local
