FROM FIRST MAP TO FINAL MODEL
A meeting organised by the Collaborative Computational Project
in Protein Crystallography (CCP4) and SERC Daresbury Laboratory and
sponsored by the EEC Human Capital Mobility Scheme.
6-7 January 1994 (thursday/friday)
CHESTER COLLEGE
The meeting will cover various methods which are employed to extract the
best model from an initial electron density map. Lectures will deal with
map and phase improvement techniques, manual and automatic methods for
interpretation of maps, some aspects of model refinement and assessing
the quality of the final model. Several case studies will be presented.
The meeting should be of particular benefit to research students but
experienced crystallographers are also encouraged to attend.
Speakers include:-
