Sadly, yes this is the case. Dorothy died on the 29th of July 1994. All the
UK broadsheet newspapers carried obituraries on Monday 1st August - the one
by Max Perutz in the Independent is perhaps the most interesting.

The funeral is today (Friday 5the Aug) with a memorial service to be arranged 
at a later date.
