Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Genetics
University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB)

Applications are invited for a tenure-track position.  UAB offers
exceptional opportunities for collaborative research in macromolecular
structure and rational drug design.  The candidate will be expected to
develop a vigorous independent research program and to participate in the
teaching activities of the department's graduate program.  He/she will
hold secondary appointments in the Center for Macromolecular
Crystallography and in the Comprehensive Cancer Center.  Salary for this
twelve month appointment will be commensurate with the candidate's
qualifications.  Applicants should submit a curriculum vitae, a statement
of research interests and future research plans, and a list of at least
