There is presently a large need in industry and academia for people with
interdisciplinary skills in {chemistry | physics | engineering} and
{biology | medicine}. At PENN, we have been funded for a training
program in Pharmacological Chemistry that aims specifically to impart
cross-disciplinary skills to graduate students. In keeping with that,
we have assembled a very strong faculty in structural biology that
includes numerous crystallographers and NMR spectroscopists on campus
who are available as research mentors/advisors within this program.

I encourage prospective students to investigate our program and
visit us in the course of their search. Contact Linda LeRoy at
215-898-1790 for a brochure and further information.
