Ki vs IC50

The Ki has to do with binding and the IC50 has to do both with competition
for binding and inhibition, I think.  If so, and if compound 3 could bind
and was better at preventing the effector from acting, i.e. was larger, or
had a stronger effect on allosteric effector binding in a multi-site enzyme,
etc., the ratio might change.
