Modified Wang ENVELP.for********

Dear Newsgroup Readers:

In 1985 or 6, the late Stuart Oatley gave me a version of B.C.Wang's
solvent flattening program ENVELP.for, modified by "D.I.S." (David Stewart?).
This version considers the fluctuations of the electron density,
along with its value and a sort of connectivity when determining the envelope.

Is there a fluctuations-sensing version of something like CCP4's SQUASH or DM,
reading and writing more familiar file formats? Has the "D.I.S." version of
ENVELP.for been updated?
