Siemens LT2 cryostat

I'm trying to set up a Siemens LT2 cryostat for low temperature studies and am
having considerable trouble with icing. I've built a full enclosure around the
cryostat and the detector, and flush the enclosure with dry nitrogen prior to
starting the liquid nitrogen flow. This reduces the icing but does not
eliminate it. I'm of the opinion that the LT2 nozzle is not producing a laminar
flow and this is the reason why it ices so quickly. Has anyone had any of the
same problems with the LT2 nozzle, and if so how did you overcome these
problems?

Thank you for any assistance.
