Hi,
We're in the process of making decisions on new equipment, and I was
wondering if anybody out there has opinions, good *and* bad, about the
currently available mirror systems (Yale design, new Supper design,
whatever). In particular I'm interest in the adjustability of such systems
(ease of focussing and realignment after filament change) and the brilliance
of the beam compared to conventional monochromator systems.
(I have experience with the old Supper mirror systems on a Rigaku, but no
experience with the newer systems with large mirrors)
If I get enough responses via email, I'll summarize to the newsgroup later.
Thanks in advance
Phil Jeffrey
