Renal Calculi

   In our lab the type of renal calculi is determined by X-ray
diffraction analisis. It is a method which appears entirely objective
concerning the kind of urolithiasis. The samples have been taken by
an open surgery. After such intervention, with the aim to prevent the
illness recurrence the patient is forced to carry out a prolonged
metaphylaxis, which obligatory must be considered with the type of
calculus. We investigate by a X-ray diffraction the structural changes
after drug action on different type stones (in vitro).
   We want to contact with other labs, working in this field.
