Of the Hg compounds used as heavy atoms soaks, which ones would be most
reactive? Since most Hg binding sites have Cys residues and my protein
has no free Cys residues it makes it less easy to obtain Hg derivatives.
Is it possible then to chemically modify a residue, a lys for instance
with a highly reactive Hg compound?
