Wasn't my intention ;-) And actually I would stand by what I said!
The 30% 'cut-off' figure you quote is really just a simple and reliable
fold recognition test. Per se, there is no reason to use a particular level
of sequence identity as a criterion for deciding whether to embark on a
comparative modelling project.
