o help me

I have networked my computer together with that of another research
group.   They have o.  I am able to mount their disk on my computer.
Thus, I am able to run o on my computer (I got the access code already
and it was added to the access.o file)  

However, I am having a problem.  When I start up o on my computer, it
says that some O functions have been disabled.  These include save,
backup, write_form,sam_a_out. This is a serious problem.

Has anyone run across this kind of thing before, and if so, can you help
me?  Please let me know.
