                        FACULTY POSITION

                     PROTEIN CRYSTALLOGRAPHY

                   DEPARTMENT OF BIOCHEMISTRY

                THE UNIVERSITY OF WESTERN ONTARIO

The Department of Biochemistry at the University of Western Ontario is
seeking applications for a tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant
Professor. Applicants should have a strong background in the application of
protein x-ray crystallography and molecular modelling in structural
biology. Candidates must have a Ph.D. degree or equivalent and several
years of postdoctoral experience.

The successful applicant will be expected to develop an independent
research program as well as interact and collaborate with members of the
Faculty of Medicine. The Department of Biochemistry features several other
structural biochemists utilizing methods such as NMR spectroscopy,
analytical ultracentrifugation and molecular modelling. For the first two
years the successful applicant will carry minimal teaching loads.
