Faculty Positions in X-Ray Crytallography of Biological Macromolecules

                         Department of Biochemistry

                     Emory University School of Medicine

Applications are invited for junior and senior level faculty positions in
x-ray crystallography in the Department of Biochemistry, including an
endowed Professorship as the Georgia Research Alliance Eminent Scholar in
X-Ray Crystallography of Biological Macromolecules. The successful
candidates will be expected to establish a vigorous, state-of-the-art
research program in x-ray crystallography in new research space as part of
the campus-wide expansion of Structural Biology. They will also participate
in interdisciplinary graduate training, medical, and postgraduate training.

areas of strength in the Department include signal transduction, lipids and
biomembranes, DNA repair, transcriptional control, oxidative metabolism,
protein turnover, physical biochemistry, and human genetics. Emory
