In order to gain any statistically significant insight into differences
in water structure between earth and space grown crystals, I think you
would need (many) more than one separate refinement of each. There can
even be significant differences between solvent structures for crystals
grown under identical condition (even from the same pot). An early
mention of this was in crambin by Hakon Hope in 1988 (Acta Cryst. B44,
22-26). Since then, we have had similar experiences with a number of
very high resolution protein refinements.

Without a rather large sampling of earth and space grown crystal
refinements, it would be near impossible to attribute differences in
solvent structure to the effects of microgravity.
